Haiku Friday: Gardeners of doom

Where good plants go to die

Dry and dead, they sit
in a makeshift plant graveyard.
Green thumbs we are not.

We do try our best.
Our thumbs are brown and busy,
our plants, sparse of bloom.

Look at the new guy.
This poor plant must be thinking,
“Get me out of here!”

Water. They need water! (Of course, I kill all the plants that live in our house. Only the ones outside survive thanks to rain!) :-)

Oh just look at those poor little things. Gone to plant heaven, I suppose.

Aw, that's funny in a sad and funny way, but I can definitely relate. I've loved my plants to the point of sometimes naming them (because I'm batshit, I know), but I know so little about keeping them alive. A few of the strongest have survived, but that's due to their inherent strength to overcome my black thumb.

The picture of the new one is too funny!

I used to have a dead plant graveyard, too, but now I walk them to the edge of our yard into the wooded area and claim that I am recycling. Clever, huh??

Plants are hard to grow
in such pots (at least for me).
Better in the ground ;--)

Hugs and blessings,

Oh no! Poor thing does look a bit worried :(

I have no words of wisdom. I manage to make fake plants look bad :(

Oh this made me laugh!

I'm horrible with potted plants. You have to read this post:

The plant mentioned in the above post did, in fact, die. (sigh)
