Tour The Pump Room!

I know you’re just dying to actually see The Pump Room. I hope that you don’t have any romantic notions as to what it looks like. Perhaps one would envision the bathroom in which I pump to be a quaint powder room with a nice sitting area and a comfy overstuffed chair. Stained conference-room chairs and institutional tile is more like it! I spend about 40 minutes a day right here with a gorgeous view of a sink and toilet. If ever my blog topics seem to lack in creativity, consider the source from which they are most often spawned!

Photo 1: If anyone were to ever burst in on Pump Lady, this is where they’d find her, shirt off, machine on, and feet up, reading a book or writing.

Photo: 2: I’m currently reading “The Mephisto Club.” It’s a little slow. Slow doesn’t make for good Pump Room reading. You need something that reads quickly and can be put down easy. “A Prayer for Owen Meany” also was not good Pump Room material; though it was good (I read it before).

Photo 3: This is my view while I pump, minus me in the mirror, of course.

Photo 4: Random bottle of Pledge. I don’t know why someone is storing dusting spray in the handicapped bathroom (a.k.a. The Pump Room). It’s sort of funny, though.

Looks very utilitarian! When I was pumping, I finally talked my boss into putting a door on my office (he had a strict no door policy) so I wouldn't have to go into the bathroom and occupy the one and only ladies room we had.

p.s. your husband did a great job on your logo.

I think it's very impressive that you double pump and read at the same time!

Thanks for the visit! I love how you've set up the Pump Room! :) I personally just pump in my cubicle because people were dragging their feet when deciding where I could pump. The breasts demanded relief! I have a shawl I cover up with, and I can still get work done (which means I don't have to take an extra-short lunch or stay late).

But in a couple of weeks, I won't be pumping anymore... I don't think I'll miss it.

I hate to admit it...but your pump room is way nicer then mine ever was. I never thought about taking a picture...but I should have. What a great idea.

God bless you! Oh, my goodness! I pumped for twenty-four days while my first child, a preemie, was in the NICU, but to very little results - never more than 1/2 ounce at time - from both breasts! AH!

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I know I'll be back here to see what's up in the Pump Room!
