He buries his face
in soft fur, his stuffed rabbit
is tattered with love.
He is sweet like this
always a hug or a kiss
for his furry friends.

I can’t help it, come Saturday and Sunday, I find myself still ticking off syllables on my fingers!
Ummmm… Anyone? Anyone?

I did at first, now I'm over it!
Alas ... methinks I 'dream' in Haiku sometimes, but I never 'count' syllables ... I hear the rhythm or pattern of syllables in my head. I love yours today by the way ... and the photo of your little QT ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
That photo is too so sweet.
I count them too, it's a hard habit to break.
Not so much anymore. But I do find it easier to write in haiku now. Like I wish every post could be haiku.
I'm always counting...until Wed., but then on Thurs I have to start thinking like that again! The curse of the haiku friday.
I find myself taking events during the week and trying to turn the into haikus.
My youngest son has a dog instead of your's having a rabbit ;) he carries it everywhere and when he has to do something important, he leaves to us (but first he makes sure we're cuddling the dog so he won't feel neglected during his stay with us) ;)
sweetest little darlings
LOL! I'm right there with you on counting on the weekend. Fingers tapping on the table and everything :)
